Founder Membership
For organisations that played a foundational role in establishing and developing SACGA.
Active Membership
For companies operating within Southern Africa and actively involved in the compressed gases industry.
Associate Membership
For companies operating outside Southern Africa with an interest in the compressed gases industry.
Association Membership
For industry associations, professional bodies, and organisations with an interest in the compressed gases sector.
Courtesy & Exchange Membership
Granted, subject to Board approval, to associations or societies that share common interests with SACGA.
Honorary Membership
Awarded to individuals who have made notable and long-standing contributions to SACGA and the industry.
Membership is open to organisations involved in one or more of the following areas within the compressed gases industry:
- The manufacture, separation, compression, liquefaction, or solidification of gases and related substances.
- The distribution and application of gases for medical, industrial, scientific, or other purposes.
- The design and manufacture of cylinders, pressure vessels, evaporators, and other gas storage containers.
- The design and manufacture of equipment and appliances used in the consumption of gases.
- The design, construction, and operation of gas production, distribution, piping, and transport systems.
- The sale, servicing, and maintenance of gas-related equipment, containers, installations, and vehicles.
- The provision of specialist information, consulting, advisory services, and training related to the compressed gases industry.
SACGA members typically fall within one or more of the following categories:
Manufacturers and suppliers of industrial gases, including operators of Air Separation Units (ASUs).
Suppliers of industrial gases via pipeline networks and road transport.
Local manufacturers of industrial gas-related equipment and systems.
Distributors, agents, and importers of industrial gases and associated equipment.
Cylinder re-validation service providers and pipeline reticulation installers.
Manufacturers, distributors, agents, and importers of consumables and raw materials used within the industrial gas industry.
